Tangerine is a warm and unique salon giving a more private experience with your stylist. Although we work independently, we share education, creativity and have a lot of fun creating beautiful crafted hair colouring and cuts.
You can expect exceptional service, talent and many years experience from each stylist.
We are a four chair salon located in a beautiful heritage building that is over 140 years old. We offer very spacious stations for you to have a laid back environment and warm experience.

Tangerine Hair Salon is located in an historic building that is over 140 years old, steps away from downtown and the famous Craigdarroch Castle! Tangerine is a locally owned and operated shop.

Jen (Owner/Stylist)
Jen has been a stylist since 2001. Prior to opening the salon in 2009 Jen spent time training as a colour technician at Suki’s Salon in Vancouver; attended the exclusive Steiner Academy in London, England; worked aboard a 6 star cruise line as a stylist and spa manager and spent several years working in film and theatre.
Jen’s specialties are hi-lites, colour and balayage. She has a passion for creating a custom and client specific balayage that looks natural and grows out well with very little maintenance. Jen has a bubbly and fun personality and LOVES what she does! She has an amazing hubby and the sweetest little girl. As a busy mom herself, she can relate to those moms out there looking for hair colour that will be very low maintenance! Jen is now accepting new clients. Text Jen at 250 885 8599.
Hershey
Born and raised in Victoria, Hershey was always interested in the latest and greatest hair trends. After hair school she moved to Vancouver to apprentice at Suki’s where Hershey worked at fashion week, photo shoots and various TV stations doing hair. This island girl followed her heart back to Victoria to pursue a career in hair. Her specialty is doing colour and she especially loves doing bright and bold colours as well as up’dos.
Marylou
Marylou has been a stylist for over 12 years. She has done extensive training at Bumble and Bumble University in New York, taken numerous classes with Davines, Kevin Murphy, La Biosthétique as well as attending Vidal Sassoon creative sessions in Toronto. Marylou has done editorial styling for Ola Dubois, Reclamation Design Company and Paradise Boutique. She has further worked backstage at Victoria fashion week and Fashion Inferno! Marylou has a passion for colour, curly hair and textured cuts.
Ashley
Ashley has built her career as a Hair Stylist in Victoria over the last 10 years, continually working to grow and expand her knowledge and skill set. Passion for learning has kept Ashley current, always trying new things and discovering solutions to everyday problems that clients may have with their hair. Friendship and connection are key to her work, she loves to laugh, and truly believes that it is integral to know who you are to help with your hair needs. Ashley loves working with natural texture and dimensional colour.
Tina
Tina has been doing hair in Victoria for over 20 years. She has experience in all aspects of hair styling, specializing in blondes and natural looking colours. Tina is very detail oriented and dedicated to making sure her clients are happy with their hair. She regularly attends classes to keep herself up to date. Outside of the salon, Tina enjoys spending time with her friends, family and her 4 dogs.

My name is Caryn and I have over 15 years experience in the hair industry. I’m constantly striving to create fun and practical cuts and colours for everyone. My chair is always an inclusive and safe space for everyone. My goal is to instill confidence and happiness in my clients, leaving them with a genuine love for their hair and a smile on their faces. I adore all animals but particularly cats (especially my own two- Chuck and Zaea).
